How to get here:
Point of entry can be from Iloilo City or Roxas City, Capiz. You can fly in through any of the major airlines (Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines or Cebu Pacific) or go via boat transfer (Negros Navigation, Superferry W/GA are some boats which travel en route).
FROM ILOILO:
Take the Northbound bus from Iloilo to Balasan or Estancia. Go down their stop and take the van/jeep which goes to Bangkal, Carles. There are also direct jeep/bus/van routes to Carles, Iloilo. You can ride it with its route, or you can rent it for the day. Request that you go down at Brgy. Barosbos, Carles. The entrance to Carles Shangri-La Family Resort is right by the main road, so you won’t miss it.
FROM ROXAS, CAPIZ:
You can take the Iloilo-bound bus from Roxas City to Balasan, Iloilo . Go down their stop and take the van/jeep which goes to Bangkal, Carles. There are also direct bus and van routes to Carles, Iloilo. Request that you go down at Brgy. Barosbos, Carles. The entrance to Carles Shangri-La Family Resort is right by the main road, so you won’t miss it.

Please send me the updated accommodation rates.. Also I would like to ask if the water in Isla Gigantes (Tangke) is very deep? Because we may bring some kids and we are wondering if they can enjoy the water too. And I want to be considerate to those who do not know how to swim very well. Can you give me some idea how much is the boat rental? And I have check the pictures but I don’t know if you are near the beach area. I prefer to correspond via email as it is more efficient for me.

The Tangke has a shallow area for kids to play in, but generally it is a secluded “lagoon-like” area that may require some supervision/assistance for kids. Our resort has a beach front. The islands (Gigantes, etc.) are outlying off the mainland where our resort is and can be accessible by boat.
